Terms of Use

Last updated: 24 August 2026

1. Who these terms are between

ThreadWare is provided by Lomapax (Pty) Ltd. (“we”, “us”). These terms govern your use of the ThreadWare applications — Android, iOS and the browser client — and the services they connect to.

ThreadWare is a workplace system. In almost every case your employer, or the organisation that gave you your login, operates its own ThreadWare installation and holds a separate agreement with us. Where that agreement and these terms differ, that agreement governs the relationship between us and your organisation; these terms govern your own use of the app.

By installing or using ThreadWare you accept these terms.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use ThreadWare for the business purposes of the organisation that issued your account, for as long as that account remains active.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Share your credentials, or use an account issued to someone else.
  • Attempt to access data, sites or companies your account is not authorised for.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile or redistribute the application, except where law permits it.
  • Interfere with the service, probe it for vulnerabilities without written permission, or use it to store unlawful content.
  • Use ThreadWare in a way that breaches your organisation’s own policies or the law.

4. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity carried out under your account. Tell your ThreadWare administrator immediately if you think it has been compromised. Actions taken in ThreadWare are recorded in an audit trail.

5. Data and ownership

Operational data entered into ThreadWare — production, sales, maintenance, KPI, risk, governance and document records — belongs to the organisation that operates the installation, not to us and not to you personally. That organisation decides who may see it and how long it is kept.

How personal information is handled is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. The AI assistant

ThreadWare includes an AI assistant that answers questions about your data and cites the records it drew on. Its output is advisory and can be wrong or incomplete. Check the cited records before acting on an answer, and do not rely on it alone for safety, legal, financial or compliance decisions.

Content you submit to the assistant may be processed by third-party AI providers, as described in the Privacy Policy. Do not enter information into a prompt that you are not permitted to share.

7. Availability and changes

ThreadWare installations are typically run on your organisation’s own infrastructure, so availability largely depends on them. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.

8. No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThreadWare is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of data, or non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of production, or loss or corruption of data arising from your use of ThreadWare. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Ending your use

You may stop using ThreadWare at any time, and you may delete your account — see how to delete your account. Your organisation may also deactivate your account. We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached.

11. App store terms

Where you obtained ThreadWare from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store, that store’s own terms also apply to the download. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms, have no obligation to provide support for ThreadWare, and are not responsible for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms in respect of the iOS application.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page, with the date shown above, is the current one. Continuing to use ThreadWare after a change means you accept it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.
